🌟 Code of Conduct for SimIaC

Welcome to the SimIaC community! Our project is dedicated to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or level of experience. We are committed to promoting a respectful community where everyone feels empowered to contribute.

🤝 Our Standards

To foster a positive and inclusive environment, we encourage the following behaviors:

  • 🙌 Supportiveness: Be supportive and respectful of each other. Offer help and gratitude where due.
  • 🌈 Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and strive for accessibility for all.
  • 👂 Active Listening: Consider others' viewpoints and experiences, and be open to constructive criticism and feedback.
  • 🤗 Kindness: Treat others with kindness and respect, just as you would like to be treated.
  • 🤝 Collaboration: Work together to resolve conflicts and improve the project.

🚫 Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable within our community:

  • Use of sexualized language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email address, without explicit permission.
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

🚨 Reporting Guidelines

If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please report it by contacting the project team at [[email protected]]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

📜 Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior. In the case of unacceptable behavior, maintainers may take action they deem appropriate, from warning the offender to temporary or permanent ban from the project.
