Script is reporting Bandit installed firmware as 3.0.0 but is indeed 3.3.1.

That is because there is no ExpressLRS release supporting the Bandit. Because it isn't on a release, it only reports what it knows, which is that it is on 3.x.x. It will display the proper version number once there is a release supporting the Bandit.
