Given the archive right now, I wonder which files are missing currently?

You can find that answer by looking in README.md. I made a list of the missing files. There may be more files.

I have tried finding a way of contacting the person behind http://cyberside.net.ee/truecrypt/, but I haven't found an email or any clue of who is behind that mirror. Maybe that person has more information. I did manage to contact 16systems and got three .sig files.

Hm, I'll try to contact net.ee.

Actually, what do you want to know from them?

Well, I just wanted to check if that person had any of the missing files, or maybe had some ideas how to get them.

I suspect they only mirrored what 16systems once offered, though. But I don't want to leave any stone unturned, better safe than sorry.

Ah ok! I will try to find a way and let you know here if I know more.

So looks like.. if we get the remaining few important files, we could do a very interesting repository by committing Truecrypt per version and do some analysis on how functions have changed through out the years. Would be interesting to find out when the vulnerabilities, which have been found by iSec-Partners have been introduced!

This has already been done, but of course with less granularity than what we can now achieve. See https://github.com/FauxFaux/truecrypt

The vulnerabilities weren't really that severe, but I guess it would be nice to investigate nonetheless.

It looks like I can't keep up at the rate this is all going, good to know!

Is there any backup of the TrueCrypt Forum?
It was under: http://forums.truecrypt.org and I had posted there sometimes, but now it is gone as well in wayback machine, nothing to find about.
It was a big documenation about user problems, quite valuable I think.

Thank. All those 87434 posts are gone?

Admins blocked Waybackmachine (Archive crawler) via robots.txt or asked for being excluded.
I'm not aware of other caches.

There's a useless page: https://www.andryou.com/truecrypt_orig/forums/
All links are stripped and Archive content is almost zero:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://andryou.com:80/truecrypt_orig/forums/*
