Better strategy for describing crop failures, including failed establishment, winter-kill ... I am still ambivalent as to whether this should be considered management data or crop response. It has elements of both.

• Codify crop statuses - stress causing death - code for summary.out
• Normal - Normal harvest at maturity or as specified
• Stress - unspecified crop stress
• NoSow - Failure to sow
• NoEmrg - Failure to emerge
• Slow - Failure to reach maturity
• Dry - Drought stress
• Wet - Excess water stress
• Heat - Heat stress
• Freeze - Freeze
• NStres - N stress
• PStres - P stress
• Disease - damage due to disease
• Pest - pest damage
