MediaElement: 3sec. delay start HLS-Stream

Hello,
I have a "realtime-video-HLS-Stream" and I want to play this in my MAUI-Application (Windows).
When I play this stream with a http-URL in my Browser (Firefox) is looking good - the Stream has only a short delay (~1/4sec).
When I start the stream in the Medialement the delay is ~3sec. I read in the docs that the Mediaelement is buffering the stream.
Can I modify this buffer-parameter?
