As of now, the lookup page has >300 experiments/comparisons available for people to use. This provides us with an amazing resource but there's little information on which to pick. The data is mixed and there are no annotations for which brain region the data comes from, or what publication is the source. This, obviously, is a problem for anyone using Kaleidoscope if they do not have the institutional knowledge, which can happen easily.
We need to back-fill the metadata for the databases we do have and create a process for generating the requisite metadata at the time of submission to kaleidoscope.
This issue is to track progress for the various sub tasks.
