Full support of Kubernetes 1.9.x as well on nodes

Is there any chance yet to provide support for Kubernetes 1.9.x on node? I have followed instructions here

$ kubectl --version
Kubernetes v1.9.3

while

$ kubelet --version
Kubernetes v1.5.2

$ kube-proxy --version
Kubernetes v1.5.2

p.s.: on the instruction page, there should be caption 1.9.x instead of 1.8.x. Also never version should be listed as first available option as usually up to date option. Or at least the default installation should list version info as well.
