Ricardo was checking solar radiation from GOES-16 and GOES-17 and most of the time they are really close as expected. However, there is one day, 09/11/2019 when they are quite different. Here is the map of the differences (GOES16 – GOES17). You can see that there is a large area (pink and green) with a difference larger than 6 MJ/m2d (> 70 W/m2), which is significant for a daily value. I got the GOES17 map from (http://10.158.241.77/cimis/2019/09/11/).

Hmm this is strange. When I compare the DWR data to the CSTARS data, I get equivalent amounts for the B2 data and the P data. However from that data (which is all that's needed) the CSTARS GOES-17 produces the right ssetr-K file, and the DWR produces a much smaller ssetr-K factor. Thoiugh they have a similar shape.
Because George has to remove data from the test server to keep it running, I can't compare other parameters to (In particular the INstantaneous Gi values) see where the discrency comes from. I can verify the the ssetr-G values are also off, and the ssetr-Gc are correct.
