Virtual environments

During the first two weeks it seems like every class has required us to create venvs. This has been incredibly confusing for many reasons, it sometimes has worked for some people, and others not. Different versions of packages or VSC.

Also, not many people have been taught 'workflow' i.e. what do you have to do everytime you start a sesssion, what do should I only have to do once if I do it right? How do I make the most out of the requirements.txt, also few people know or understood pip freeze etc.

It would have been really appreciated if we could've spent some time on this.
