Enter information for groups of enslaved people that includes the numeric count (e.g. 15) of people as well as a narrative count (e.g. several)
e.g. “a ship came with 15 enslaved indigenous people.”
E.g. “several servants ran away from Mr. James Fitch”
E.g. “Captured, shipped to Cadiz on board Capt. Sprague's ship, including 80 captured by Samuel Mosely, 45 captured by Uncas”
E.g. “Permission granted to Major and Capt. Winthrop to take 3-4 families or half a score of Indians now with Pequots or Narragansets to Fisher’s Island, to return account to Court in October”
Allow for the option to include personless documents (or documents without specific names of people) on indigenous enslavement. (e.g. a correspondence talks about indigenous enslavement).

E.g. “Indians of Capt. Watson and Mr Naeys”
E.g. “Letter from Stoughton about captured Indians”
E.g. “Plymouth Colony condemns them to perpetual servitude, orders that they be sold "for and to the use of the colllonie, as opportunity may present"
