[Desktop] Option to pause/unpause notifications #2881

This is a wonderful and impressive project, thank you.

I would appreciate the option to toggle notifications completely off (and back on) as needed, within the desktop client.

This could be a one-click bell icon somewhere, or perhaps an option in the system tray. Thanks for considering it
