By scale up and scale down do you mean increase and decrease the size of virtual machines according to user activity or increase and decrease the number of virtual machines in the host pool according to user activity? If you mean increase/decrease size, can you help me understand what would be the desired end user experience? Resizing VMs when users are logged in would cause end user session disruption. Today Azure Virtual Desktop Autoscale does not have a supported way of accomplishing either of these scenarios, but we are open to feedback on what is the desired experience and more detail around the motivating scenario(s).
