Describe the bug

Changing the zoom level under Spilt View to "Fit to Width" or "Fit All" and switching to "Design View" or "XAML View" will cause Visual Studio to freeze and crash to desktop.

To Reproduce

  1. Open any .axaml file (for example, the default App.axaml); it will display in split view.
  2. Change the zoom level from any% to "Fit to Width" or "Fit All."
  3. Click "Design View" or "XAML View."
  4. Visual Studio will freeze for a moment before crashing to the desktop.
