Chrome will cease support for MV2 extensions, while Firefox and Edge have already adopted MV3. There's no need to worry about the Authenticator extension continuing to operate as MV2; we are in the process of migrating to MV3 and assure you that you won't be locked out due to the phasing out of MV2.
