Question: is there a way to control how the linked issue is displayed #13

I use JIRA 6.1.7

Using linking fields, I want that only the description (or the summary, or another field) of the linked issue will be displayed, perhaps only with the issue ID. Is there a way to achieve this?

I also am not sure what the "options" mean in the configuration.

The options work only for not autocomplete view.
