AllsSky camera entry for map

My AllSky system is now running properly and the camera could be entered on the map page.

Short summary of the problems with V0.8.3.

1 - File "home/pi/allsky/tmp/image.jpg" is not created.
Bug fix in file saveImage.sh. Solution is still open.

2 - Problems creating the timelapse videos:
If "home/pi/allsky/tmp" is mounted as tmpfs the entry in the fstab should do with the parameter user,
then the owner of the tmp directory is user pi and there are no problems with access rights.

Entry in /etc/fstab:
"tmpfs /home/pi/allsky/tmp tmpfs size=50M,user,noatime,lazytime,nodev,nosuid,mode=1777"

In addition, the swap partition should be increased to 1GB.

3 - The allsky web portal does not show an up-to-date image.
Despite the recommended settings, I still need the symbolic link
"/home/pi/allsky/tmp/image.jpg" -> "var/www/html/allsky/image.jpg"

@jimjackii Thanks for the summary.

1. It's fixed as of yesterday. You can grab the newest scripts/saveImage.sh.
2. I fixed the command in the Wiki - thanks for pointing that out.
3. Are you referring to the WebUI ("allsky-portal" package), or the Allsky website? Either way, is this still the case? A symbolic link should not be needed. The WebUI looks in the directory specified by the IMG_DIR variable in config.sh, where "current" is an alias for /home/pi/allsky, so if the default IMG_DIR=current/tmp is used, the WebUI will look in /home/pi/allsky/tmp for the "image.jpg" file. If you are still having this issue, please temporarily remove the symbolic link, go to the website, press F12, then refresh the page. In the Network link on the right, see what image it's trying to download. You can also try this: If your WebUI URL is http://xyz then try http://xyz/current and see what appears.

I have now taken the current files saveImage.sh and upload.sh and installed them.

3. I was referring to both - WebUI and allsky web page. There I needed the symbolic link, despite the entry imageName: "/current/tmp/image.jpg" in config.js. I have now adjusted everything as described - and it works without symbolic link so far.
