@kenkolen-neal,
I see what you say. The README.md file says you have to run these commands to enable the service:

sudo systemctl enable allsky.service     # enables the service, but does not start it
sudo systemctl disable allsky.service

then the next line says:
Note:* The service is enabled by default after installation.

@linuxkidd, Michael, can you check if the commands above are part of the installation of Allsky, or if the user has to manually enter them (in which case I suggest the installation does it)?
