Is it normal to have a timelapse duration of 24 seconds only ? #695

So not a bug to my knowledge, but just wondering all my test captures, which are just in my house while i build, are all 24 seconds. Is 24 seconds the norm? Thanks Rob VE2XTC |

@robmorin, what exactly is 24 seconds? Your timelapse videos? Or your exposures for each image? If it's the timelapse, I'd expect them to all be the same assuming you don't change any settings. You should get the same number of images per day (give or take a couple), and the timelapse routine will combine them at the FPS (frames per second) you specified in config.sh. For example, if your FPS is 25 and you take two pictures a minute, for 300 minutes (5 hours), your timelapse should be exactly 24 seconds (2*300 / 25). Does this help? |
