With Bortle 9+ you aren't going to get great-looking images, but you should be able to get "good enough" ones. Your second image is actually fairly good, given your skies. With the IR filter removed your colors will never be perfect. Try using whichever of these files exists for your "Tuning File":
You can also play with the Red and Blue balance to see if you can get rid of some of the green. What I normally tell people in your situation is to try stretching the image, but you're already doing that, and it looks like you've been experimenting with different values, which is good. |

Who can help me with the best settings for my raspberry pi allsky cam running the allsky software?
The problem: I’m in Bortle 9+…😢
Attached are some screenshots. This is a typical clear night, and these are my settings. I was hoping to capture more stars than this. Fiddled with my stretch settings but still very poor results.
I’m using a RPIHQ, the IR filter is removed (now I’m not sure it that was such a good idea…)
