Constellation layer on Desktop vs Mobile

Hello everyone, I recently built and started an AllSky Camera and I'm trying to configure the constellation layer but I have a big problem. Once the resolution and offset parameters have been set, the virtual sky is correctly displayed on desktop/laptop devices but not on mobile devices. The only way to view everything correctly even from a smartphone is to select the "Desktop Site" option on the browser. Do you have any particular tricks to suggest to me so that I can view everything correctly on mobile too? Is there a "responsive" module to activate on virtual sky?

@32BOBO32, If you know anyone that's good with Javascript, they might be able to get the constellation overlay working on mobile devices. It also doesn't always resize properly on a desktop when you resize the screen. I've spent hours and hours trying to fix it, but my JavaScript isn't very good.

There is sizing code in controller.js and virtualsky/virtualsky.js.

As far as I can tell, Virtualsky isn't supported anymore so it would be really nice to find a supported replacement that worked.

@EricClaeys , I made some test during the lat 3 days and I think I reached an interesting result.

• Starmap resize is now working correctly and everything is working well also on smartphones and tablets. It was not working due to a mix of several reasons: fudge factor, percentSmaller, and image border parameters and also the definition of Starmap Inner and Starmap w & h were wrong.

• Offsets recalculations are working now in realtime and It force a Page refresh automatically at the end of recalculation: this feature is working 100% on Firefox and Chrome (only with Inspect Mode) but not in Chrome normal mode and Edge

I'll really appreciate your feedback on this updated controller.js module.

@EricClaeys I fixed also the offset recalculation bug in Edge and Chrome. This one was due the

#starmap_container {
	position: absolute;
	overflow: hidden;
}

parameter in allsky.css

Change it in

#starmap_container {
	position: fixed;
	overflow: hidden;
}

Let me know if this setting + the modified controller.js are working also on your side ;)
