I executed that command and also checked the error log. Nothing in the error log and using a browser to log into the IP address, still will not accept my username/password. I can remote desktop into the IP address and load the RP desktop. The username/password does work there. I can also use a browser to log into using http://localhost but the username/password is the default and not the username/password I have been using for months. But at least I can 'see' what the camera is seeing. |

@njrusty, just to be clear, the "username" and "password" you are referring to are what the WebUI asks for when you go there? The defaults are "admin" and "secret"? Removing the file will restore the defaults. You may need to force a browser refresh via Shift-F5. |

The 'admin' and 'secret' are working but when I created the base OS system, I changed the username and password to something else which has been working for months with no issues. For some reason yesterday, my changes no longer work and only the default usernames/passwords work. |

I had changed on both to allsky, allsky but now only defaults work.

what username and password did you change? The one you log into the Pi with? Or the "admin" / "secret" ones?

There are two logins/passwords:
You can set both logins and passwords to the same thing, but they are still different logins. If I understand correctly, you changed both login names to "allsky", and I assume both logins have the same password? Are you able to log into the Pi with the "allsky" login? If not, that's a Linux issue, not an Allsky issue. You'll need to Google to see how to reset the Pi's password. If you can't log into the WebUI then you'll need to log into the Pi and execute |

Apologizes for the delay. I found by just using login as allsky.local instead of a specific IP address, I was able to access and continue to use as usual. |

Having a problem with my ALLSKY system now and this started yesterday (been running great for months). When I type in my local IP address; it asks for login/password but it will not accept them now. I can PUTTY into this same IP address and it accepts the login/password but now when I try going in via an web browser. I deleted browser cache and passwords but still not working. I've tried multiple browsers but still the same issue. Any advice?
