Moon Brightness

How is the best way to reduce the brightness of the Moon during its transit? I know it could be an issue because if you reduce the brightness of the Moon, you will also reduce the ability to see background stars. How do you all work around this? Would love to know what settings you adjust.

I'm not aware of any way to do it. The Sun is the same way.
It might be possible to decrease the mean brightness target, then stretch the image, but I have not tried that.

An option, which needs a lot more thought, is to have variable settings based upon the Moon's phase. I'll have a chat with Eric about it

It is not an issue. Seems to be normal.
As @EricClaeys and @Alex-developer said, maybe it is possible to have workaround, but not seems available at the moment.
