DHT22 not working anymore

Hi,
after a fail of my uSD card I installed Allsky on a new uSD wir Bullsyeye 64bit lite. After that I restored my backup fd "allsky" and "allsky-modules" directories back to the new uSD. Everything works fine but the DHT22 in the dewheater module gives the following errors. How can I fix this error?

Yes, the Pi has already been restarted several times. I also connected another sensor and changed the data pin too, because I suspected that the IO port might be defective due to a voltage spike. Can I check if any libraries are missing or is there a command line command I can use to test the sensor?

I have now uninstalled all additional modules again. However, the module installer shows me that it does not recognize the Pi version. I have a Raspi 4 with 4 GB RAM. Could this be the reason that the installer has not installed the modules correctly?

I should also mention that I updated the latest kernel modules using "sudo rpi-update" because I needed the functionality to read the temperature from the RPi HQ camera sensor for the dark frames.

I have now started all over again from the beginning. I installed Allsky and the Allsky modules on a virgin Pi-OS and then started with the dewheater module. Reading the DHT22 sensor works without any problems. I will now set up the system again manually step by step and check at which point problems occur. I already wrote that I suspect it has something to do with the kernel update. However, it is also possible that one of the configuration files that I imported from the backup is causing problems.

Ah I think I see a problem. You restored the allsky modules folder? That will likely break things, its best to reinstall the modules as running the wrong version of the modules will cause issues.

I doubt the kernel update is an issue, its more likely that the restored modules folder has some older code in it. I had to make some pretty significant changes to the modules when bookworm was released. The changes were mainly around GPIO and how the various Pi boards are handled. Looking at the error you originally posted I would guess you have the older module code.

I will update the upgrade notes to make it clearer to people that the modules need to be reinstalled.
